Oh Yo-anna entered the entertainment industry in 2017, winning the Ermoso Beauty Award at the JYP 13th Open Audition. She later garnered attention for her graceful appearance and talent, being selected as "Suk" in the Chunhyang Selection Contest, and subsequently passed the MBC weathercaster audition, officially beginning her broadcasting career.

She became a familiar face to the public, appearing on various news programs such as ‘930 MBC News’ and ‘12 MBC News,’ where she hosted weather segments. Notably, in 2022, she appeared on tvN's ‘You Quiz on the Block’ as a representative MBC weathercaster, gaining recognition for her professionalism and skill.
