After leaving HYBE, Min Hee-jin filed a lawsuit against Belieflab CEO Kim Tae-ho and other executives, accusing them of defamation under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. She also fileda lawsuit seeking approximately 50 billion won in damages.

In September, Min Hee-jin participated in the ‘2024 Da Vinci Motel’ event hosted by Hyundai Card, delivering a 134-minute lecture. At the time, she garnered attention for her frank and bold statements. Who is Min Hee-jin?

Min Hee-jin is a South Korean music producer and creative director. At SM Entertainment, she showcased a unique visual identity by planning the album designs and concepts for groups such as SHINee, Girls' Generation, EXO, and Red Velvet. After transferring to HYBE, she successfully debuted the rookie girl group NewJeans as CEO of ADOR, fostering their growth into a group that combines popularity and artistry.

However, in August 2024, Min Hee-jin stepped down from her position as CEO of ADOR, and subsequently continued to hold the position of inside director and to work on producing NewJeans. However, on November 20th, 2024, Min Hee-jin resigned from her position as inside director at ADOR, terminated her shareholder agreement with HYBE, and stated her intention to pursue legal action.

Following Min Hee-jin's resignation, the NewJeans members sent a registered letter to ADOR demanding correction of breaches of contract and stating their intention to terminate their contracts if their demands were not met.

Min Hee-jin has announced plans to pursue new K-pop projects, signaling her continued activity in the industry.
